After some deliberation, Heaven Media has opted to remove the password on all GOTV relays.
Earlier on Saturday, Heaven Media had decided to lock people out of their GOTV relays by setting up passwords after Starladder.tv had started streaming one of Natus Vincere's matches, this way violating the agreement that had been reached with the Mad Catz organisers.
However, it has now been announced that there will be GOTV broadcast for the remainder of the tournament, regardless of which companies decide to stream the matches.
A statement from Heaven Media can be found below:
"Our goal has been to offer the best viewing experience possible, and ensuring satisfactory conditions for all of our partners. The decision to password the GOTV servers was not made lightly, and was not ideal, however we felt it was the only reaction possible to a serious breach of agreement and lack of cooperation by one of our partners.
"Despite the ongoing possibility of streamers violating the agreements in place, we have agreed in collaboration with our partners to allow GOTV from now on, placing the needs of the community above their own.
"We have proudly worked with streamers in several languages for this event and are grateful for their support, and we do ask that all streamers continue to respect our requirements."
